SPRING HIGH SCHOOL STABBING: One student dead, multiple people stabbed at Spring High School near Houston, TX. KPRC-TV reports that an 17-year-old male student was killed in the altercation and two people are in police custody in connection with the stabbings.
NBC Miami reports that all the victims in the stabbing were students. This is the third mass casualty event on a Houston school campus this year, but it was the first incident that involved a fatality. Three people were wounded in a shooting at Lone Star College North Harris campus in January, while 14 people were stabbed at the Lone Star College Cypress campus in April.
CNN reports three students were detained for questioning at the sheriff’s office. The names of the students involved in the incident have not been released. Stay tuned for updates on the Spring High School stabbing.
