Bob Dole Slams Newt Gingrich, Helped Him Get $150K Line of Credit to Pay Off Ethics Fine

Bob Dole Slams Newt Gingrich, Helped Him Get $150K Line of Credit to Pay Off Ethics Fine

Newt Gingrich’s smugness and falsehoods have resulted in an avalanche of scathing criticisms against the possibility he could become the Republican presidential nominee. From Ann Coulter to Tom DeLay (whose comments I would seriously think twice about) and now former Sen. Bob Dole are all criticizing Newt Gingrich and his record of non-accomplishment, though he would have the gullible voters believe otherwise. In case you don’t remember who the hell Bob Dole is, just think back to the character on SNL with the pen stuck in the middle of his clench fist (an injury sustained in the military, which is something Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney know nothing about since they managed to dodge serving their country.)

Here’s the latest slam on Newt Gingrich via a letter written by Bob Dole:

“Mitt Romney Is My Choice For President”

By Bob Dole
January 26, 2012

I have not been critical of Newt Gingrich but it is now time to take a stand before it is too late.  If Gingrich is the nominee it will have an adverse impact on Republican candidates running for county, state, and federal offices. Hardly anyone who served with Newt in Congress has endorsed him and that fact speaks for itself. He was a one-man-band who rarely took advice. It was his way or the highway.

Gingrich served as Speaker from 1995 to 1999 and had trouble within his own party. Already in 1997 a number of House members wanted to throw him out as Speaker.  But he hung on until after the 1998 elections when the writing was on the wall. His mounting ethics problems caused him to resign in early 1999. I know whereof I speak as I helped establish a line of credit of $150,000 to help Newt pay off the fine for his ethics violations. In the end, he paid the fine with money from other sources.

Gingrich had a new idea every minute and most of them were off the wall.  He loved picking a fight with Bill Clinton because he knew this would get the attention of the press. This and a myriad of other specifics helped to topple Gingrich in 1998.

In my run for the presidency in 1996 the Democrats greeted me with a number of negative TV ads and in every one of them Newt was in the ad.  He was very unpopular and I am not only certain that this did not help me, but that it also cost House seats that year. Newt would show up at the campaign headquarters with an empty ice-bucket in his hand—that was a symbol of some sort for him—and I never did know what he was doing or why he was doing it.

In my opinion if we want to avoid an Obama landslide in November, Republicans should nominate Governor Romney as our standard bearer. He has the requisite experience in the public and private sectors. He would be a president we could have confidence in. Source

Bob Dole had his own issues, including a failed presidential run, but he should know who Newt Gingrich really is than many. Newt Gingrich has insulted blacks, Latinos, gays and lesbians, women and the people with whom he served in the House of Representatives. He was a poor organizer and had a hard time really, really working with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle. Do you really think he can ever be an effective president? Hell no.

Teenagers Tatina Daniels and Teresa Price Facing Capital Murder for Death of Jesse Morales Jr. in Garland TX

SHAME: Tatina Daniels, 17, and Teresa Price, 18, are facing capital murder charges in the stabbing death of Jesse Morales Jr., 40, at a Garland, TX, motel, where they spent Monday night partying.

Police didn’t specify what happened at the Kingsley Inn and Suites on W. Kingsley Road, but say the party involved drugs, alcohol and sex.

Garland officers say the two teens took the victim’s 1996 Nissan van and some of this other belongings, then later set fire to the abandoned van in South Garland.

Although investigators found the van, they didn’t know about the murder until the two young women walked into a Dallas police station on Tuesday and told officers there about Morales’ body.

Dallas police contacted Garland police about the alleged murder, and after an interview, the teens were arrested and charged. Bond for both teens will be set later on Wednesday. Source

It is obvious that education isn’t a priority for these two girls. It’s a sad commentary that this is all they could aspire to and not trying to better themselves. What is a 40 year old man doing hanging around teenagers, partying, boozing and having sex?

Gulf War Vet Roger James, Wife Angelita James, Found Dead in Arlington Heights IL Home in Apparent Murder-Suicide

MURDER-SUICIDE: Murder-suicides seem to be an alarming daily occurrence. An Arlington Heights, Ill., couple Roger James, 48, and Angelita James, 56, were found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday. The couple’s bodies were found in their home in the 900 block of East Shady Way, the Daily Herald reports.

Angelita James’ son said she hadn’t shown up for work and couldn’t be reached by phone. They were found dead from gunshot wounds in a bedroom of the home.

Roger James seems to have had a dark side. He has a criminal history, with several arrests between 1999 and 2006, the Daily Herald reports. He also pleaded guilty to domestic battery in 2002 and was sentenced to 18 months in prison for the crime. He also served 30 days in jail in 1999 and was given probation on a domestic battery and battery charge. It seems he was a ticking timebomb.

Roger James, who was a veteran of the Gulf Wars and commander of the Des Plaines American Legion Post 36, was reportedly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and taking medication.

We cover cases involving murder-suicide because we want to raise awareness to this growing and alarming trend. It seems to also be a frequent occurrence in military families.

Drudge Report Continues Attack on Newt Gingrich Over Bill Clinton Affair with Monica Lewinsky

Drudge Report Continues Attack on Newt Gingrich Over Bill Clinton Affair with Monica Lewinsky

Matt Drudge and his lackeys continue attacks on Newt Gingrich, particularly his stance on former president Bill Clinton’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, though he was cheating with his jump-off-turned-wife Callista Gingrich. This attack also includes the latest revelation that the Gingrich campaign never offered witnesses to ABC News to refute claims his ex-wife, Marianne Gingrich, made that  he wanted an “open marriage.”

The Drudge Report also stepped up attacks on Newt Gingrich’s claims of a close working relationship with former president Ronald Reagan. It’s all very interesting to watch the infighting among conservatives over a presidential nominee to meet President Obama in November. I will agree with Ann Coulter, for perhaps the second time in recent years, a Newt Gingrich candidacy will mean a second term for President Obama. So, bring Newtie on!

Here are the links from the Drudge Report:

Gingrich tells UNIVISION: No perjury during my divorce depositions…

NEWT FLASHBACK 1983:  REAGAN RESPONSIBLE FOR NATIONAL DECAY.

NEWT 1986: The Reagan administration has failed, is failing…

NEWT 1988:  If Bush runs as continuation of Reaganism he will lose…

You see, Matt Drudge couldn’t give a sh*t about Bill Clinton, he is just pushing this mess because he can’t stand Newt Gingrich, for whatever reason. Well, I love watching the Republicans trip over one another. This only plays in the hands of Barack Hussein Obama.

Slave Game Alleged at Camp Creek Elementary School in Lilburn GA

Slave Game Alleged at Camp Creek Elementary School in Lilburn GA

Another slavery mess is brewing in an Atlanta school. According to WSB-TV, some students at Camp Creek Elementary School played a tag-like game, a slave game, where students pretended to be slaves and  slave-catchers at recess and a teacher allegedly participated.

Three children and their parents told Channel 2 that a teacher organized and participated in the game.

The schools spokesperson said that there was a game, but the teacher did not participate.

The school district released a statement to Channel 2 saying, “The school district looked into concerns regarding four students who participated in a playground activity. The district determined that the activity was student initiated and that allegations regarding the teacher’s involvement were unfounded.”

Ericka Lasley told Channel 2 that her 8-year-old daughter said she was a slave and other students were slave catchers during a game similar to tag. The third-grade student said the teacher proposed the game based on what the class is learning. Source

This comes on the heels of Luis Rivera resigning from his teaching position at Beaver Ridge Elementary School, also in Gwinnett County, over slavery-themed Math questions. Why am I not surprised about this racist mess happening in Georgia? A few morons trying to set us back.

Mitt Romney’s Hard-Line Immigration Stance Shows His “Detachment” from Reality

Mitt Romney’s campaign is DOA, dead on arrival, with most Hispanic voters because of his hard-line position on immigration. Even former Florida Republican governor Jeb Bush is advocating for a moderate stance from Republicans on the matter. Well, Mitt Romney continues to show his hypocrisy and arrogance on the subject of illegal immigration, ignoring the fact that his father, George Romney, was born in Mexico. Um, guess what, that makes Mitt Romney a descendant of a Mexican-American.

Mitt Romney tried to sweep that under a rug until Univision’s Jorge Ramos got all in his stuff by asking him if he wasn’t a Mexican-American, since his father was born in Mexico. Here’s the ridiculous response he offered: “I don’t think people would think I was being honest with them if I said I was Mexican-American,” Romney said, adding that he’d still be grateful if Ramos “put the word out.” He said his parents were American citizens who never spoke any Spanish. That begs the question of why they were in Mexico to begin with.

Either way, Mitt Romney’s goose is cooked with Hispanics, since he seems to think the illegal immigrants in this country are mostly coming from Mexico and none from European countries. He can stick a fork in that turkey because the Latino vote has just left him. Now he’s in Florida trying to appease to the Hispanics, but it is a little too late. In case he doesn’t know, Hispanics are less likely to support a candidate who is screaming on top of his voice that he will veto the Dream Act. That self-deportation comment will come back to bite him time and time again.

Greg Kelly, NY TV Personality and Son of NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Accused of Rape

Greg Kelly, NY TV Personality and Son of NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Accused of Rape

“Good Day New York” co-host Greg Kelly, who is son of New City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, is under investigation for alleged rape. Kelly denies any wrongdoing and says he is co-operating with officials. The alleged sexual assault took place in October, but the woman involved didn’t report the incident until this week.

The woman, who is around 30, told police that she and Mr Kelly met on the street and went for drinks at the South Street Seaport on the evening of October 8, according to the New York Times.

They went to her office at a law firm in downtown Manhattan, where the assault allegedly happened.

She says that when her boyfriend found out about the encounter, he confronted the older Mr Kelly at a public event, and the commissioner told him to write a letter detailing the allegations.

The younger Mr Kelly ‘strenuously denies any wrongdoing of any kind,’ his lawyer said. Source: Daily Mail

These allegations are sometimes very hard to prove, but I hope justice will prevail. We have seen instances in which the accused is innocent, but there have also been many cases in which the allegations were true. We hope the true will come to light and there won’t be a cover up because of Greg Kelly’s father’s standing and position.
