Three Found Dead in Apparent Double Murder-Suicide Near Fayetteville NC

FAYETTEVILLE MURDER-SUICIDE: The alarming trend of murder-suicides continue unabated with the latest being a double murder-suicide near Fayetteville, NC. According to the Fayetteville Observer, a shooting left three dead at a residence in the 8200 block of Cedar Creek Road outside Fayetteville.

Police said two men and a woman died in a double murder-suicide just after 10 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was found on the street, while the other two were found inside the residence, the newspaper reports. The names of the deceased have not been released pending notification to the next of kin.

UPDATE#1:  The names of the victims are Doris Henrietta Robinson, 80, Lewis Elwood Robinson, 65, and Bobby Joe Bullard, 30, who was the gunman. He reportedly went to the home looking for his girlfriend Loretta Robinson, who is Doris Robinson’s granddaughter. When Doris Robinson refused to let him inside the home, he became angry and began shooting, the police said.
