Jason Mount, a second employee at US Immigration and Customs Enforcement filed a discrimination lawsuit against Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano, alleging his career was curtailed due to anti-male bias at the agency. Mount, whose lawsuit was filed July 31, alleges that he was denied 43 promotions because he is a white male and that he took a lower-grade job because of “how serious the discrimination and retaliation had become” at the agency, the NY Post reports.
Jason Mount filed his lawsuit two months after ICE official James T. Hayes Jr. sued Janet Napolitano for $3 million for allegedly giving a top job to her “good” friend Dora Shriro over him, though she was not qualified for the position.
