Brooklyn teen Ronald Wallace Jr. died after being shot once in the back at the corner of Tapscott Street and Blake Avenue in Brownsville after 1 a.m. Friday. His family said he was on his way to the store when he was killed. This begs the question, why was a 13 year old child on his way to the store at 1 AM? Where was the parental supervision?
The 13 year old teen was set to start high school next month. Police reportedly recovered a black revolver was recovered at the scene, but no arrests have been made. Brownsville has been a crime-ridden area for decades. The gun violence there is nothing new.
