Another University of North Carolina student has been murdered, four years after the murder of Eve Carson, Faith Hedgepeth’s body was found in her apartment Friday. Friends said Faith Hedgepeth was a biology major on a full scholarship, who wanted to be a doctor, CBS affiliate WTVR reports.
Police said her death is an ‘obvious homicide’ and are speaking with those who last saw her. Law enforcement doesn’t believe this was a random act. Faith Hedgepeth was a member of North Carolina’s Haliwa-Saponi Native American tribe and the UNC American Indian Center, where she was a volunteer, CNN reports.
