BREAKING NEWS: Four firefighters shot, two died from their injuries, at the scene of a fire on Lake Road in Webster, NY. The fire was at 191 Lake Road near Bay Road, 3WHAM reports. The victims were taken by Mercy Flight to area hospitals. The other two firefighters are listed in guarded condition at Strong Hospital. The lone gunman has been apprehended, but his condition is not clear. There is no active shooter right now, but sheriff’s deputies are still looking for other possible suspects, WHEC reports. USA Today reports: “Webster, N.Y., police Chief Gerald Pickering said “one or more shooters” fired at the firefighters when they arrived around 5:45 a.m. ET at the scene near the shore of Lake Ontario in western New York state.
