TSA Security Officer, Husband Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

CLEVELAND AIRPORT MURDER-SUICIDE:  A Transportation Security Administration officer in Ohio was killed by her husband, later turned the gun on himself in an off-site parking lot at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, an apparent murder-suicide, Sunday morning. Before the husband killed himself, he fired at a second TSA employee but missed. The shooting reportedly occurred at the Riveredge Employee Parking lot.  The names of the couple has not been released.

According to Sgt. Sammy Morris a 28-year old man followed his wife to the airport late Sunday morning.  His 20-year old wife, a TSA Agent, was riding in the car with another TSA Agent when he rammed the back of their car in the employee parking lot.

Police say the man then got out his car and started shooting.  The driver of the car his wife was riding in got out and started running.  Although he was shot at, he was never hit. After shooting his wife, at least five times, the man turned the gun on himself. He died at the airport.  His wife was rushed to Metro where she died.
