I guess like Patti Labelle, Diana Ross just a touch of diva-ism, after she and her daughter allegedly caused a scene at La Scala restaurant for lunch last Thursday in Beverly Hills. The New York Post reports, upon arriving at the Italian restaurant Diana Ross was told she would have to wait to be seated until her daughter arrived. She reportedly refused and walked to a booth and sat down. Ruh Ruh!

She was allegedly told by management of their seating policy that incomplete parties will not be seated unless a reservation has been made and was also told if “she cut the line and sat before her daughter arrived, she would not be served.” When her daughter did arrive, the pair allegedly caused a scene and then stormed out.

According to the New York Post, owner, Gigi Leon said:  “I’m sorry that Miss Ross had a problem with that and she feels that the rules didn’t apply to her. Our policy is that we don’t sit incomplete parties. If people jump the line, our policy is we don’t serve them, and she was told that. We treat everyone the same whether you’re famous or not. We love having her as a customer. We’d be happy to have her back.”

what kills me is these stupid restaurant Managers are happy to use celebritites to advertise their places and get bums on seats and once in a while idiotic managers who run the place think its cool to embaress and call out a celebrity like Ms. Ross – she deserved to be seated you moron it was good for business or did no one teach you anything. Im sure if she went to Lisa Vanderpumps place she would have been given a seat immediately. Ms Vanderpump has good business sense and would never let this moron run a place.
The Owners of La Scala should be ashamed of the idiot who was on duty that night.

diana ross paid her dues way before that manager was born. i would not have a problem with someone with as much notoriety as diana jumping in front of me. for safety issues she shouldn t have to wait. that manager should be fired and the owner should also fire himself. most people go to those resturants in hopes of rubbing elbows with the stars. eventually the stars will quit going and there goes business. what a moron manager.
