HENRY COUNTY TN TRIPLE SHOOTING: John Baxter shot his wife, Virginia Baxter and their daughter, Katherine Oloughlin before turning committing suicide near Puryear, TN, the Paris Post-Intelligencer reports. Police said a pending divorce was the motivation for the Henry County triple shooting.
Police said an argument erupted over which partner could keep a car after the divorce. John Baxter, 72, used a .22 caliber handgun and a .357 derringer in the shooting. Oloughlin, 46, was taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville and Virginia Baxter, 66, was taken to Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
