Terrilyn Monnette, a New Orleans teacher, has been missing since Saturday night, when she went out with friends to celebrate receiving an award for her outstanding work as a second-grade teacher at a Harvey school.
Monnette was last seen Saturday about 4 a.m., leaving Parlay’s bar in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue in Lakeview, according to the New Orleans Police Department. She allegedly told acquaintances she would sleep in her car for a bit because she had had a few drinks.
A witness told police he saw Monnette around 4 a.m. with an unidentified man in the parking lot. Her black 2012 two-door Honda Accord has not been seen since.
“We just want you to come home,” sobbed her sister, Kandice Enclade. “I just want to see your pretty face. I miss you so much.” Source
Terrilyn Monnette is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a pink and yellow sweater with blue jeans. The Times Picayune reports she has a tattoo on her left leg.
