House Speaker John Boehner’s soon-to-be son-in-law looks like a younger version of Bob Marley and he has reportedly been arrested for marijuana possession. Why is this a big deal? John Boehner is dead-set against marijuana legalization. Hypocrite.
Jamaican-born Dominic Lakhan, who is set to marry John Boehner’s daughter Lindsay on May 10, was arrested in Pembroke Pines in 2006 for a traffic violation. He was charged with misdemeanor possession after marijuana was found in his vehicle.
Here’s a shot of Dominic Lakhan from the National Enquirer, which dug up the dirt. Looks a lot like Bob Marley, wouldn’t you say? LOL.
“Upon making contact with the driver,” states the police report, “officer observed in plain view a 16 oz. Natural Lite beer can opened in the driver door.
“Officer also detected the odor of burnt cannabis emitting from the interior of the vehicle.
“A search of the vehicle revealed two bags containing approximately 2 grams of suspected cannabis… inside the center of the ashtray. Suspect admitted to the possession of the cannabis, stating that it was for personal use.” Source
Dominic Lakhan was also arrested in 2003 for possession of an open container while driving. Here’s John Boehner’s position on weed:
House Speaker John Boehner, a Republican representing Ohio, has said he is ‘unalterably opposed’ to legalizing marijuana, even for medical purposes.
‘Whether it is the American Medical Association, the American Cancer Society – all of those people, by and large don’t believe there is any medicinal value in marijuana,’ Boehner told CNN in 2009. Source
John Boehner, like the rest of his colleagues are out of touch. Marijuana should be decriminalized. It’s a little hilarious that he’s not only getting someone who has used marijuana in the past as a son-in-law. He’s also getting a Rastafarian. That alone is priceless. Um, show me a real Dread who doesn’t smoke weed? Dominic Lakhan is a construction worker.
