SHAMEFUL:  Thamsanqa Jantjie, the interpreter who made a mockery of Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his fake sign language, stands by his work and is asking for forgiveness.

Jantijie told CNN that he is a qualified interpreter and has been trusted in the past with other big events. He also told CNN, “It has been many years I have been doing this job. My portfolio shows that I have been a champion of what I have been doing.”
