MARTIN’S SUPERMARKET SHOOTING: Three people, including the suspected gunman, are dead in a late night shooting at Martin’s supermarket in Elkhart, Ind.

State Police Sgt. Trent Smith told ABC News that the shooter was pointing a gun at the head of a third person, possibly a store employee, when police arrived on the scene. The gunman, who hasn’t been identified, was killed by Elkhart police.

The suspected shooter is either in his late teens or early 20s. He entered the store with a semi-automatic handgun and a large knife, Sgt. Smith said. The victims are two females, one in her late teens or early 20s and the other thought to be in her 40s.

The Martin’s Supermarket shooting comes two days after Mason Campbell opened fire, shooting two children, at Berrendo Middle School in Roswell, NM.
