Donald Trump’s Response to White Supremacist Violence in Charlottesville is Truly Pathetic

Birther King Donald Trump’s response to the white supremacist violence in Charlottesville, Va., is truly pathetic. These racists, which included former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke, were marching in Trump’s name.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency in Charlottesville after violence erupted between alt-right white nationalists and members of the Ku Klux Klan and counter-protesters.

Trump held a press conference, decried the clashes, but stopped short of labeling as it truly is — white supremacist violence. He was bragging about Foxconn, low unemployment rate, etc.

Trump tweeted: “Am in Bedminster for meetings & press conference on V.A. & all that we have done, and are doing, to make it better-but Charlottesville sad!”

Pathetic.

He previously posted a vague tweet with no mention of Charlottesville: “We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!”

This is the guy who attacked President Obama for not using the term Islamist terrorists. He just couldn’t bring himself to repudiate white supremacists and call them what they are — domestic terrorists.

Donald Trump has zero credibility on matters of race, since he led the birther movement against Barack Obama, attacked Hispanics, Muslims and have largely ignored the black community.
