The maker of Ambien responds to Roseanne Barr in the best way possible: “Racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.”

Barr tried to justify her racist attack on senior Obama aide Valerie Jarrett by blaming it on taking Ambien. Of course, that didn’t go over well on Twitter. She was ridiculed. Barr tweeted that Jarrett was the product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes.

Sanofi US responded on Twitter: “People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.”

Even Dictionary.com threw shade at Barr:
