NJ Couple Shanae Howard and Brandon Brown Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide

A New Jersey couple, Shanae Howard and Brandon Brown, were found dead in an suspected murder-suicide in a secluded park in Montclair after neighbors reported hearing “five or six gunshots.”

The bodies were discovered about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Canterbury Park. WABC-TV reports Shanae Q. Howard, 24, was found partially naked and lying face up, while Brandon Brown, 26, was found face down. Relatives believe the couple was killed by someone who knew them but the police believe it was a murder-suicide.

Carnell Moore ID’d as Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston Shooter, Left Suicide Note Behind

BUSH IAH SUICIDE:  Carnell Moore of Beaumont, TX, reportedly walked into Bush Intercontinental Airport with an AR-15 and a handgun, firing at least two shots before committing suicide. The shooting and apparent suicide occurred inside Terminal B at about 1:35 p.m.

Carnell Moore left a suicide note behind that said he had a “monster within” and wanted cops to take care of it. He had been staying at a Houston hotel for the last few days, KHOU reports.

Jason Allen Killed Estranged Wife, Self, in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Clair-Mel City FL

CLAIR-MEL CITY MURDER-SUICIDE:  Jason Allen killed his estranged wife, Pamela Allen, 38, and then took his life in an apparent murder-suicide in Clair-Mel City, Fla.

Pamela Allen was found deceased inside the home where Jason Allen, 37, lived at 1326 Windsor Way, sheriff’s deputies said. Pamela Allen lived at 10210 Sable Tree Drive.

A female relative called the sheriff’s office Friday evening and said she discovered the couple deceased.

Gary Reitnauer’s Apparent Suicide From Carbon Monoxide Leaves Wife and Two Kids Dead

SHOCK:  Gary Reitnauer committed suicide by carbon monoxide in the garage of his home and his wife, Michelle Reitnauer and their three kids also died from the fumes. Gary Reitnauer reportedly went into the garage of an adjacent home on their property in Milford Township in rural Bucks County, Pa., after a disagreement with his wife.

Police believe his wife tried to rescue him but was overcome by the fumes when she broke one of the windows of the car. She was found dead inside the car. Kimberly Reitnauer, 16, was found dead in the kitchen adjacent to the garage, Jaime Reitnauer, 10, was barely alive when the police arrived 11:20 p.m. Monday night, but later died in a local hospital.

The two girls were adopted from China, according to media reports. By all accounts they excelled at school.

NYPD Officer Rosette Samuel Kills 1 Year Old, Boyfriend in East Flatbush Murder-Suicide

FLATBUSH DOUBLE MURDER-SUICIDE:  Off-duty NYPD officer Rosette Samuel, killed her one year old son and her boyfriend in their home at 805 East 56th Street, East Flatbush, Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said.

The off-duty officer and her one year old son were found in her bed with gunshot wounds to the chest, while the body of her boyfriend, the father of the baby, was found in the hallway of the first floor of the three-story home.

Rosette Samuel’s 19 year old son, Dondre Samuel, from a previous marriage, escaped from the home through a back window in his boxers and a windbreaker. He called 911 to report the double murder-suicide. It is not clear if the gun used in the shootings was her NYPD-issued service weapon.

Off-Duty NYPD Officer Kills One Year Old Baby, Boyfriend and Herself in East Flatbush Murder-Suicide

FLATBUSH MURDER-SUICIDE:  Off-duty police officer reportedly shot boyfriend, Dason Peters, a one year old son, Dylan Samuel-Peters, and then herself in an apparent murder-suicide in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Monday morning. The shooting occurred at a home on East 56th Street. Stay tuned for updates.

The officer’s 19 year old son escaped from a back window wearing only a pair of boxers and a windbreaker, witnesses said. He called the police after fleeing the apartment.

The unidentified cop was a 13-year veteran of the force. Police found the boyfriend’s body was found lying in the hallway of their ground-floor apartment. The cop, 43, and her infant son were found lying on a bed, authorities said.

The officer was assigned to the 108th Precinct, which covers Long Island City and Sunnyside in Queens. The couple and children located the first-floor apartment of a two-story home.

All three victims died of gunshot wounds, police said. The child and the officer were shot in the chest, police said. Reports are that Rosette Samuel was upset her boyfriend was leaving her and moving back to Guyana. She reportedly left a note.

Pastor Rick Warren said his son, Matthew Warren, committed suicide with an unregistered gun he purchased on the Internet. The serial number was reportedly scratched off the gun, making it virtually impossible to trace.

“I pray he seeks God’s forgiveness,” wrote Warren, a best-selling author and the head of Saddleback Church, referring to whoever sold his son the gun. “I forgive him.”

Law enforcement authorities have the gun they believe Matthew Warren used to kill himself, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino.

Amormino said he could not say from where, or whom, the 27-year-old got the weapon. But he did confirm the gun was not registered, adding that its serial number had been scratched off.

“(The fact) the serial number is scratched off … is going to make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to trace,”  Amormino said. Source

MD High School Senior Michelle Miller, Sgt. Adam Arndt Found Dead in Murder-Suicide

GERMANTOWN MURDER-SUICIDE:  Rockville High School senior Michelle Miller and U.S. Army staff sergeant Adam Arndt, 31, were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide. They were found dead in Adam Arndt’s home in the 12900 block of Pinnacle Drive in Germantown, police said.

Detectives think Arndt shot Miller and then himself, police said. “I know she was smitten by the guy – she used to show a picture of him on her camera,” said Kevin Miller, the girl’s father. He did not know whether the two were romantically involved but said, “I’d say the chances are pretty good.”

Police said that Miller and Arndt met because she was planning to join the Army Reserve after graduation. Kevin Miller said he thinks Arndt was a higher-ranking colleague of a female Army recruiter who first spoke to the family. Source

Michelle Miller, 17, was a varsity lacrosse player and a honors/AP student, who was also taking a class at Montgomery Community College, the Washington Post reports.

Jeff Faulkner, Wife Juliane Marie Faulkner & Her Brother Ryan Dale Oetken Found Dead in Double Murder-Suicide

(HinterlandGazette) — LINCOLN COUNTY DOUBLE MURDER-SUICIDE:  Jeff Faulkner, his wife Juliane Marie Faulkner and her brother Ryan Dale Oetken were found dead in an apparent double murder-suicide in a home in the Windwood subdivision in South Lincoln County, TN.

WHNT is reporting that the bodies have been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsies and positive identification. Two witnesses told sheriff’s deputies that there was a domestic dispute inside the home, that was followed by gunshots. The witnesses were able to escape from the house unharmed.

Ryan Dale Oetken, 33, was from Cartersville, Ga., while his 38-year-old sister and her 50-year-old husband were from Fayetteville.
