Chicago Park Shooters ID’d as Tabari Young, Brad Jett, Bryon Champ & Kewane Gatewood

The four suspects in the Cornell Square Park shooting identified as  Tabari Young and Brad Jett, both 22, Bryon Champ, 21, and Kewane Gatewood, 20. Tabari Young is the alleged gunman.

All four Chicago Park shooters have been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm, the Chicago Tribune reports.

It seems that Tabari Young’s mother is making excuses for his criminal behavior. She told the Chicago Tribune that while her son is a transient, “he’s a good boy. It’s just that he gets caught up … because there’s no work.”

There is no reason for her son to have shot a three-year-old child and then excuse should reprehensible behavior as being out of work.

Bryon Champ is a convicted felony and a known-gang member. He was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon last year and was sentenced to boot camp. He didn’t need boot camp. He needed to do some hard time behind bars.
