Tom Sneddon, who went after Michael Jackson on child molestation charges, has died. He reportedly had cancer.
Sneddon, who served as Santa Barbara’s district attorney for more than 25 years, lost the case against Jackson in 2005. He accused the King of Pop with plying his alleged victim with wine and then sexually assaulting him at his Neverland ranch. He also accused Jackson of holding his victim’s family hostage.
Tom Sneddon had gone after Michael Jackson 10 years before for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old boy at Neverland. Jackson settled the civil case for $20 million. The boy and his family refused to cooperate with Tom Sneddon and the case went nowhere.
