SHOCK: Je’Michael Malloy, 17, and his 18-year-old friend, Dominic Lock, were arrested in connection with the murder of 15-year-old ex-girlfriend Danielle Locklear, in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Malloy killed Locklear by strangling her and watching his friend stuff a sock down his throat before they tied her body to cinder blocks and dumped her in a river, the police said.
Dominic Lock was initially charged with conspiracy for allegedly helping carry Danielle Locklear’s body, but the charge has been dropped and he is now charged with second-degree murder, WRAL reported. Malloy is also charged with second degree murder.
Danielle Locklear vanished on March 11 and her body was found in the South River by searchers on April 3.
Je’Michael Malloy even offered to help her family in the search for Locklear and liked a Facebook group set up as part of the search. He reportedly killed her after the two got into an argument when she went to visit him. Both teens are being held on $100,000 bond.
