Jerome Isaac Arrested for Burning Delores Gillespie to Death in Brooklyn Apartment Elevator

Jerome Isaac has been charged with first degree murder and arson in the horrific death of elderly Delores Gillespie in a Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, apartment elevator. Delores Gillespie had hired Jerome Isaac to do odd jobs but fired him after she caught him stealing, the New York Post reports. Delores Gillespie was killed as she returned from a trip to the grocery store and was accosted by Jerome Isaac in the elevator where he sprayed her with flammable liquid and set her afire with a Molotov cocktail, cops said. It is still not clear if they had a relationship, but it seems that he held a grudge because she refused to pay him because of the alleged thefts.
