Three people were found shot to death in a Redford Township, MI, home Friday morning. The names of the victims have been disclosed as Shawn Dunlap, Bryant Jones, 17, and Darrell Bulock, 40. A man was arrested in connection with the triple murder and could face charges on Monday, Local 4 reports. Several neighbors told Local 4 that the house has been the center of trouble for quite some time, with loud arguments and people coming and going all the time.
Police said in the news release that it appeared the victims knew the shooter. They were not releasing further details Saturday night about the incident, including the names of the victims. But a search of public records on the home, cross-checked against Facebook, showed Dunlap did live in the house and was believed by those who knew her to have died Friday.
Friends and family of Dunlap posted condolences and photos of the woman on their Facebook pages. Dunlap’s family could not be reached Saturday night. Neighbors said Saturday that Dunlap lived in the home with her boyfriend and her daughter, and they said her daughter’s boyfriend was a frequent visitor. Source
It seems that Redford has been in a state of steady decline throughout the last few years. It’s a shame that communities that were once safe and affordable are now becoming havens for the unsavory elements in society. Not sure what happened in this case, but it seems that the victims knew the suspect. Stay tuned for more information.
