Putin’s Puppet: Donald Trump continues to meltdown over the Russian election hacking, now blaming Democrats for a foreign adversary hacking their computers and John Podesta’s emails. Um, blaming the victim.

Donald Trump remains an active participant in the Russians’ misinformation campaign that was ordered by Vladimir Putin. He is willing to mislead the American people in order to protect whatever he has going with Russia and his ego. It is clear that voting machines aren’t the issue.

Trump took to Twitter hours after his briefing with intelligence officials, tweeting: “Gross negligence by the Democratic National Committee allowed hacking to take place. The Republican National Committee had strong defense!”

The fact is, Donald Trump doesn’t want to admit Russian interference because it would mean he didn’t win outright. Well, a majority of Americans have already dismissed him as an illegitimate president. He’s trying to protect his win, but it’s going badly for him.

He continued his meltdown on Saturday:  “Only reason the hacking of the poorly defended DNC is discussed is that the loss by the Dems was so big that they are totally embarrassed.”

Um, never mind the fact that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by one of the biggest margins in U.S. history for someone who lost the Electoral College. The Republicans have a slight edge in the Senate, so no huge win there. He won the election by only 304 electoral votes, hardly a landslide.

Trump continued his meltdown:  “Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only “stupid” people, or fools, would think that it is bad.  We have enough problems around the world without yet another one. When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!”

Um, that’s not how it works. We are not going to embrace Russia and Vladimir Putin after they engaged in cyberattacks on our democracy.  He must really owe Russian entities a shitload of money.  I said it once and I will say it again, Donald Trump will never be my president. He didn’t win fair. He won by an assist from Russian hacking and James Comey’s letter to Congress 11 days before the election.

Of course, Twitter exploded over Trump’s tweets:
