Dave Chappelle dropped some hard truths during a comedy routine on Netflix, telling poor white Trump supporters, “you are poor, he’s fighting for me.”
Donald Trump could care less about the needs of the poor and working class Americans. He’s all about fighting for more tax cuts for the corporations and the fabulously rich.
Chappelle’s standup routine was filmed weeks before the GOP-led Congress gave corporations and the wealthy huge tax cuts, while adding to the deficit.
“I’ve never had a problem with white people ever in my life, but, full disclosure, poor whites are my least favorites. We’ve got a lot of trouble out of them. And I’ve never seen so many of them up close,” Chappelle says.
“I stood with them in line … and I listened to them say naive, poor white people things,” with the belief that Trump will take care of them.
“I’m standing there, thinking in my mind, ‘You dumb (profanity). You are poor. He’s fighting for me,” Chappelle said.
