Georgia gubernatorial candidate Casey Cagle demands Delta reinstates its relationship with the National Rifle Association because they shouldn’t criticize conservatives. LMAO!
Cagle tweeted: “I will kill any tax legislation that benefits @Delta unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with @NRA. Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back.”

As a resident of the state of Georgia, I apologize to the people scratching their heads and laughing at this parody.
If Delta decided to move its headquarters from metro Atlanta I’m sure Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle would be among the politicians begging them to stay.
Of course, Twitter erupted into mockery:
I think this might be extortion, but I’m just a dumb blonde on twitter. You might want to check with your state laws on extortion before you do anything as drastic as forcing Delta to offer the NRA a discount, Tough Guy. You should be familiar with them. https://t.co/lLtS3KWxvb

So per GOP Lt Gov of Georgia @CaseyCagle you MUST Support the NRA or the state of Georgia will punish you! I hope @Delta moves to my home state of NJ – I bet NJ Governor @PhilMurphyNJ would be very happy to welcome Delta https://t.co/yg51lOaJl8

Well first, that certainly doesn't seem legal. Second, @Delta listened to its customers. That's what corporations do. Perhaps you should take a lesson from them and start listening to your constituents – who want politicians to stop taking #NRABloodMoney & to #BanAssaultWeapons https://t.co/UzTVMmXgxK

The Lieutenant governor of Georgia is so mad at Delta because they're no longer giving discounts to NRA members that he wants to punish them. Honestly, the GOP has become a parody of themselves. This is so laughable. https://t.co/MWOaYhB3Vb

You’re going to force corporations into relationships that they don’t want by threatening them? Yea, doesn’t sound legal.

So unless Delta keeps giving NRA members discounts, you’ll “kill any tax legislation that benefits” Delta.
That does not strike me as ethical. https://t.co/PDD2C5J01L
