Donald Trump reportedly plans to continue his racist rhetoric for the 2018 midterm elections, by continuing his attack on black NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. They’re trying to pass it off with a fancy phrase — “unexpected cultural flashpoints.” It’s means racially charged rhetoric.

Axios reports, “with an eye to getting Republicans excited about voting for Republicans in midterms, the president this year will be looking for “unexpected cultural flashpoints” — like the NFL and kneeling — that he can latch onto in person and on Twitter.”

Because when in doubt, Republicans who have enabled Trump, will go racist every single time to win election. But, let’s see how well that will work out, since it will motivate women, millennials, black and brown voters to go out to cast their ballots in droves.

Trump went full racist in the Virginia governor’s race by using the MS-13 gang to implicate all Hispanics as criminals. That didn’t end well for the Republicans because Ralph Northam won by a huge margin and a lot of seats flipped from red to blue in the state legislature.

Democrats have flipped about 35 seats since he was sworn in, including one in the deep red state of Missouri when Mike Revis beat the Republican for the HD-97 race last week.
