Meghan Markle makes history as the first woman entitled to use Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex ahead of her absolutely perfect wedding to Prince Harry. She is also the Countess of Dumbarton and the Baroness of Kilkee after Queen Elizabeth II also bestowed those titles on her new husband. Lady Diana would have been very, very proud of her son and his bride. This was a good day for the world.
I must admit, I teared up a few times during the wedding, from the moment she got in the car with her mother, Doria Ragland, as they headed to the church and when she got out and started walking up the steps. It was a powerful moment when she started her walk down the aisle alone.
This was the most diverse royal wedding I have ever watched. I have never seen so many black people perform in any royal event of this magnitude, except, perhaps, the Queen’s jubilee celebrations.
The newest royal couple changed outfits ahead of the private reception at Frogmore hosted by Prince Charles. Markle wore a high-neck sleeveless Stella McCartney dress, while Prince Harry went black tie as the two got into an E-type Concept Zero Jaguar — straight out of a James Bond movie.

Designer Stella McCartney also gave the couple a shout-out:

#meghanmarkle aka the new Duchess of Sussex looked amazing in a white Stella McCartney silk column dress. She also wore Aquazurra shoes painted with a baby blue sole for her “something blue”. She had a different hair stylist (slightly random) George Norwood for her evening look. pic.twitter.com/KYgL2a95ln

I think the Duchess of Sussex will be a very effective royal. As someone concerned about human rights and as an intelligent woman, she can do a lot of good. Not just a prop. #RoyalWedding
