Melania Trump praises LeBron James and offers to visit his school after her husband’s racist attack questioning the NBA legend’s intelligence, saying, he is “working to do good things on behalf of the next generation.”

Mrs. Trump’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in a statement:  “It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today.”

“Her platform centers around visiting organizations, hospitals and schools, and she would be open to visiting the I Promise School in Akron,” the statement continued.

Donald Trump tweeted: “LeBron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

CNN’s Don Lemon responded in the best way to Trump’s attack. He tweeted:  “Who’s the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?”

This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has attacked famous black Americans for criticizing him but he picked the wrong one. He has said Rep. Maxine Waters has a “low IQ;” attacked civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis; called Rep. Frederica Wilson a liar; attacked Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson as a liar; led the racist birther movement against Barack Obama; called black NFL players “sons of bitches” for taking a knee to protest police brutality and racism; and many, many, many more instances of his racist attack on people of color.
