Attorney General Jeff Sessions says mail bomb suspect Cesar Sayoc “appears to be a partisan” and that “political violence is antithetical to our vigorous system of self-government.”

Sessions said, “This is utterly unacceptable. Political violence or the threat of political violence is antithetical to our vigorous system of self-government.”

“It is a threat to that respect for law and process that allows our people to accept legislation, elections, and court rulings with which we do not agree,” Sessions said.

Law enforcement zeroed in on Sayoc yesterday after they found his fingerprint on an envelope containing a pipe bomb that he sent to Rep. Maxine Waters.

During a DOJ press conference on Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray would not say when Donald Trump was told about Sayoc. It is possible that Trump was also told yesterday, which makes it reprehensible that at 3 a.m. this morning he sent an unhinged tweet about “bomb stuff.”

The Democrats Trump-loving Cesar Sayoc targeted with pipe bombs: Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Maxine Waters, Robert DeNiro, George Soros, John Brennan and James Clapper via CNN.

Sayoc faces up to 58 years in prison.
