Laura Ingraham accuses Oprah Winfrey of race-baiting because she talked about the historical disenfranchisement of black people while campaigning for Stacey Abrams in Atlanta: “Have you ever read a book or watched a documentary about the civil rights movement?” She tried to come for Oprah and failed miserably.

Ingraham, who attacked LeBron James and Kevin Durant saying they should just “shut up and dribble,” claims Oprah is better than that to have talked about race during her appearances with Abrams.

Newsweek reports: “Ingraham was less than impressed and accused Winfrey of “fear mongering” and “broad-brush race-baiting.” “Gotta hand it to Oprah. She’s a great speaker, but I liked her better when she was giving away Toyotas and refrigerators,” Ingraham said, in a subtle disparagement of her daytime talkshow.”

“To try to tie the candidacy of the Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp to the scourge of racism and even lynchings? Come on, Oprah! It’s dehumanizing, it’s completely baseless, it’s totally cruel, and again I say, you’re much better than that and you’re much bigger than that,” she said on The Ingraham Angle,” Newsweek reports.

By the way, Oprah never once mentioned Brian Kemp’s name, who has been accused of voter suppression and voter purges. Winfrey and her family have lived through the darkest moment in America’s history and this privileged white woman wants her to ignore the hard truths about blacks and voting in America.

She was talking about the history of disenfranchisement of black people in America and saying that people should get out and vote, She also urged them to vote for Stacey Abrams.

Oprah said during her speech yesterday: ”I’m here today because of the men and because of the women who were lynched, who were humiliated, who were discriminated against, who were suppressed, who were repressed and oppressed. And I want you to know that their blood has seeped into my DNA and I refuse to let their sacrifices be in vain.”

She also talked about Otis Moss Sr., who was turned away from three polling stations, after two told him he was at the wrong precinct and the third told him he was too late. She talked about her grandmother Hattie Mae Lee, who died before the Voting Rights Act was passed. She never got an opportunity to vote. So, that is race-baiting?

Well, Twitter responds after Laura Ingraham accuses Oprah Winfrey of race-baiting:
