A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds that 62 percent of Americans say Donald Trump is lying about involvement with Russia up from 56 percent in August.

The poll finds that 46 percent says guilty plea by Trump associates suggest he has engaged in wrongdoing himself. That’s up from 40 percent in August and 36 percent a year ago. About 50 percent say that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation has given them more doubts about Trump’s presidency.

The poll also finds that a majority polled want the Democrats, not Donald Trump, to set policy.

Red flag to GOP: Only 38 percent say they would definitely or probably vote for Donald Trump if he seeks a second term, while 52 percent say they would definitely or probably vote for the Democratic candidate.

Trump’s tsunami of lies about everything has started to backfire as there are now cracks in the GOP wall of support for him. This comes as every organization Trump is involved with is now under investigation — Trump Organization, his 2016 presidential campaign, his inaugural committee, Trump administration, Trump transition team, Trump Foundation, previously Trump University, and people in his orbit.
