A new survey of women of color overwhelmingly back Kamala Harris for a 2020 presidential run with warning signs for Bernie Sanders that he still does not appeal to this demographic.

The survey, conducted by She the People, finds Sen. Harris (CA) leading with 71.1 percent, with Beto O’Rourke in second place with 38.3 percent and former vice president Joe Biden rounding out the top three with 25 percent.

Sen. Cory Booker with 24.2 percent, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren with 22.3 percent, Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams with 15.2 percent and Bernie Sanders in seventh place with 12.1 percent.

Nearly a third of the women surveyed said they would not consider Bernie Sanders in their top three choices because of his inability to appeal to women of color, which is a problem he faced in the 2016 presidential campaign.
