Donald Trump tries to speak for African Americans in the Ralph Northam blackface scandal and Justin Fairfax sexual assault scandals. It backfires big time: “You lack the moral authority to speak on this,” one user tweeted.
Another reminded Trump that he pushed for the death penalty for the Central Park 5 even after they were exonerated for raping a white woman in Central Park.
African Americans are very angry at the double standard on full display in Virginia!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 10, 2019
Trump’s lie comes as a slight majority of black Virginians do not want Gov. Northam to resign. He has pledged to improve racial equality in his state. Trump, on the other hand, is widely despised by the black community.
He is also trying to stoke racial tensions over the handling of Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax’s sexual assault allegations by saying there is a double standard. Never mind that fact that he has been accused of sexual misconduct by nearly 20 women.
Twitter clapped back hard after Donald Trump tries to speak for African Americans:

Here’s the dude you endorsed proudly standing by the Confederate battle flag. But, yes, keep on talking about “double standards”. pic.twitter.com/xzS8HkcAy4

African Americans are definitely angry about much of what you do and say and you don’t care about that so don’t act like you care what African Americans in Virginia or anywhere else actually think
— Political Season (@politicalseason) February 10, 2019
The guy who called Maxine Waters “Low IQ,” Don Lemon the “dumbest man on television,” and LeBron James even dumber — and who accused a black gold-star widow of lying — wants people to believe he is really plugged in to the thoughts and concerns of the African American community

No. We’re angry about the double standard on full display in DC
Northam wore a racist costume in 1984
Trump lived a life of racism from Central Park Five to “very fine people” to his racist policies
And he joked about Native American genocide YESTERDAY https://t.co/pFiSyNLDkv

nice try, Racist Uncle President. hey, remember when you called for the execution of five innocent black teens, or when you and your Klansman father were fined for refusing to rent your tacky apartments to black people? those were fun times, weren’t they? now, you were saying?
— Jeff Tiedrich (@itsJeffTiedrich) February 10, 2019
There certainly was a double standard and how you and your daddy decided who could rent apartments, wasn’t there? At least the courts said there were. Please shut the hell up Trump.

Trump has some nerve to talk about African Americans in Virginia when he’s the one who made viscious false accusations against the Central Park 5. And both Trump and the Republicans waged some kind of doxxing information warfare campaign in Virginia.

Hmmm, how about the double standard going on in America as a whole? Mr. President, you really lack any moral authority to speak out on this. You might want to look in the mirror.
