Former attorney general Eric Holder asks “what is he hiding” after Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney says Democrats will never get Donald Trump’s tax returns.

Holder tweeted:  “Two questions. What is he hiding? And on exactly what basis is the Trump Administration going to LAWFULLY not disclose the tax returns in response to a legitimate Congressional request? This is a direct affront to the rule of law. Serious.”

Holder was responding to Mulvaney’s claims that the Democrats didn’t have a right to get Trump’s tax returns and the American people voted from him any way.

It is not up for discussion whether the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee can get the tax returns. He can. It’s the law and Trump is not above it, even though he thinks he has a right to continually lie to the American people. He is clearly hiding something and shouldn’t be allowed to slide right under the audit lie for yet another election cycle. The same goes for Bernie Sanders.
