Donald Trump says “hate has no place in our country” in response to the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings. Um, just take a look at his Twitter feed, which is a smorgasbord of hatred, denigration, racism, misogyny, xenophobia and name-calling.

Trump took one question from reporters before he boarded Air Force One to head back to Washington D.C. from New Jersey on Sunday.

“Hate has no place in our country, and we’re going to take care of it.”

He said that he will make a statement around 10 a.m. on Monday. I’m sure he walk back whatever he reads from the teleprompter by the end of the day.

White supremacist Patrick Crusius killed 20 and wounded 26 in the El Paso mass shooting while Connor Betts killed nine and wounded 27 in the Dayton mass shooting.
