Former Trump DHS adviser Tom Bossert calls out Donald Trump for pushing the debunked Crowdstrike conspiracy theory on the Ukrainian call and expressed disgust with Rudy Giuliani: “It has no validity.”
During an appearance on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Bossert said: “It’s not only a conspiracy theory, it is completely debunked… Last year retired former Sen. Judd Gregg wrote a piece in The Hill magazine, saying the three ways or the five ways to impeach oneself and the third way is to hire Rudy Giuliani.”
“I am deeply frustrated with what [Rudy Giuliani] and the legal team is doing in repeating that debunked theory to the president.” “It sticks in his mind when he hears it over and over again, and for clarity here George, let me just again repeat — it has no validity.”
In other words, a former Trump aide is calling them all out. This is a wow moment and may show that there are cracks. This comes as House Intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff announced that they have reached a deal with the whistleblower to testify before the committee. He said they are just waiting clearance from the Director of National Intelligence.
