Confirming the vice president of the BOCC

Consider the affirmation of President Commissioner Shirley Allenbrand’s appointment as vice chair of the County Board of Commissioners.

Plats for Mount Auburn

Resolution no. 006-23. Question no. SE 22-261-PP/FP (AU). Phelps Engineering, applicant, and Investment Ventures, LLC, landowner, request preliminary plan, including minimum infrastructure waiver not to install dry sewers; and Final Plat for two (2) residential lots, known as Mount Auburn, Second Plat, on approximately .6 acres, on PRU-1B listed property, Planned Residential Urban Single-Family District 1B, located on the southeast corner of 197th Terrace and Park Street, Section 5, Township 15, Range 25.

Rezoning for Estates at Shadow Run

Resolution no. 007-23. Application no. SE 22-264 REZ (AU) and SE 22-264-PP/FP (AU). Consider an application from Domino Acquisitions, LLC, applicant/landowner, for a 30.2-acre rezoning from Rural District (RUR) to Planned Rural District (PRUR); a preliminary plan, including a minimum infrastructure waiver not to install dry sewers; and a Final Plat for four (4) residential lots, located west of Mission Road and south of 183rd Street, known as Estates at Shadow Run, Section 33, Township 14, Range 25.

Financing programs to improve safety

Consider authorizing the award of Coronavirus SLFRF received from the US Department of the Treasury in the amount of $200,000 for the purpose of funding direct community investment programs to ensure the safety of our families and communities.

Funding for workforce development programs

Consider SLFRF Coronavirus Appropriation Received from the US Department of the Treasury in the amount of $3,500,010 for the purpose of funding direct community investment programs to increase workforce development capacity within the County by Johnson.

Funding programs to help small businesses

Consider SLFRF Coronavirus Appropriation received from the US Department of the Treasury in the amount of $2,073,520 for the purpose of funding direct community investment programs to address struggling small creative businesses within the county of Johnson and the allocation of $50,000 from the Countywide Support Fund’s reserves for a one-time direct payment to the Arts Council of Johnson County to assist in the administration of these programs.

Property of the pumping station

Consider executing a transfer agreement with Blue Shawnee, LLC, transferring ownership of Cedar Mill Pumping Station No. 4 and of the main force to Johnson County.

ADA Bathroom Modification Contract

Consider authorizing a contract with Kelly Construction Group, Inc., for ADA compliant restroom modifications for various Johnson County facilities in the amount not to exceed $323,566 using the Supply and Term of Services Agreement of construction on call, RFP 2021-053.

Approval of the Order Regulations of the BOCC

Consider approving the County Council Commission Bylaws.
