Important information for fans announced for Sunday’s AFC Championship game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

Get ready for Sunday’s game with these tips:

· Pack loosely and cover all exposed skin. Guests may bring blankets (no zippers or compartments), draped over their shoulders during the security check process, as well as portable chargers and non-dry cell batteries (both no larger than 6″x3″x1.5″) for heated food Battery packs must be disconnected during the safety inspection.

· Fans needing additional layers in place can visit one of the many Pro Shop locations which will be stocked with warm clothing.

· Stay hydrated. All guests may bring one factory-sealed bottle of water, 20 oz or less.

Heating stations will be located throughout the complex:

o Outside: Red Heat Trailers will be available near Parking Gates 3/4, 5, and 6, as well as inside Lots B, C, D, F, and G.

o Interior: Nine heating stations will be located inside the stadium:

§ One at the bottom of each of the four field level spirals.

§ Close to Jim Beam (North) and Crown Royal (South) bars located on upper level.

§ Near the Red Zones on the east and west sides of the Upper Level.

§ The Season Ticket Holder Kick-Off Countdown Tent, located on plaza level near Gate G, will transform into a heated zone at kick-off for all fans.

Visit the new Kingdom Lodge to purchase a variety of hot beverages located near Section 102 or grab a cup of hot chocolate available for sale at all Chiefs Bar, Tailgater and Blaze locations on the pitch and upper levels.

· Fans who pledge to become a designated driver at one of the Fans First booths will receive a coupon for a complimentary cup of hot chocolate.

Fans unable to catch Sunday’s game can tune into WDAF-FM (106.5 The Wolf), the Home of the Chiefs radio network, as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs WR Danan Hughes and sideline reporter Josh Klingler call the action. Tico Sports will produce a Spanish-language broadcast on KPRS Hot 103 Jamz HD2 (103.3.2 FM) and KSSA La Ke Buena (105.9 FM) with Enrique Morales, Oscar Monterroso and sideline reporter Hannah Bassham. Both radio broadcasts are also available to stream on the Chiefs Mobile app within a 50-mile radius of the Kansas City metro area. Sunday’s game will be televised on CBS (KCTV5 locally) where play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz, analysts Tony Romo and Jay Feely, and sideline reporters Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn will deliver the call.

Stadium gates and moving entrance

All gates at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will open at 3:30pm for the 5:30pm kickoff. Gates for guests with CommunityAmerica Club level tickets will open at 3:00 PM. Guests are reminded to access their mobile tickets and parking passes prior to the event and add them to their mobile wallet for expedited entry. Bud Light will sponsor a giveaway of rally towels at the gate.

The Ford Tailgate District, located in Lot M on the north side of the stadium closest to Lancer Lane, is a free space where all fans can enjoy drink specials, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment before kickoff . The Ford Tailgate District will open Sunday at 1:30pm and feature performances by DJ Lazer and Big Time Grain Co.

The Chiefs introduced the GEHA deck in 2019 as the home of two playing traditions: the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. President and Chief Executive Officer Clark Hunt will serve as this week’s Drum Honoree.

To celebrate the franchise’s 60th season in 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy seat at Arrowhead Stadium’s GEHA Field. For each home match, the club selects a season ticket holder to receive this special award. The two gold spots are found in section 121 of the lower bowl, symbolically placed under Lamar Hunt’s name in the team’s Ring of Honor.

This week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat honoree is Lori Haley. Haley is a breast cancer survivor who worked for the Federal Reserve for nearly 40 years before retiring in October of 2021. Haley has been a lifelong Chiefs fan since the 1960s and has been a Season Ticket member for 33 years.

Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 lottery

The beneficiary of this week’s 50/50 raffle is the Hunt Family Foundation. For playoff pricing, raffle tickets are priced at 200 tickets for $40, 60 for $20, and 10 for $10.

Fans not at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday can also enter the Hunt Family Foundation’s 50/50 raffle by visiting www.chiefs.com/fans/5050raffle or via the Chiefs Mobile app. Online sales are currently active, but fans must be in the states of Missouri or Kansas at the time of purchasing a ticket online. In-person raffle tickets will remain on sale through the end of the third quarter. The winning ticket will be announced in the stadium and posted online during the fourth quarter of the match and the winners need not be present to win. Credit and debit cards will be the only form of payment accepted by 50/50 Raffle vendors.

All concession stands and retail outlets are completely cashless. In addition to traditional credit/debit card scan and chip reader options, all stationary outlets offer tap-or-scan mobile payment options, including Chiefs Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Street vendors and vendors inside the stadium only accept credit cards.

The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect for all events at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans can visit www.chiefs.com/stadium/clearbag for important clear bag policy information and a complete list of permitted and prohibited items. While clear baggage policy is in place, guests are encouraged to avoid carrying a bag into the stadium if possible to speed up the entry process. Guests will experience smoother entry through new CEIA OPENGATE security screening technology at all stadium entrance gates this season. As guests approach the stadium, they must keep items in their pockets and/or clear bags as they pass through the new advanced screening devices as directed by security personnel. All fans should continue moving through the screening gates at a normal pace, as there is no need to wait for the person in front or stop unless otherwise instructed.
