The NFL season is nearing its end, with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals battling it out for a Super Bowl berth in the AFC championship.
Kansas City came off a 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Cincinnati handled its business against the Buffalo Bills in a 27-10 blowout.
These two teams have long histories in recent years, with the Bengals one of the few teams to have the number of Chiefs.
There are several intriguing storylines that go into this game, and perhaps none greater than the health of the Kansas City Chiefs. With quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce struggling with injuries, it could limit the explosiveness of the Chiefs’ offense.
On the other hand, the Bengals are led by quarterback Joe Burrow, undefeated against Mahomes and the Chiefs in his career. This will be their second playoff meeting, with the Bengals surviving the Chiefs 27-24 in an overtime thriller.
All three meetings between Burrow’s Bengals and Mahomes’ Chiefs were decided by three-pointers, which should make for another fun AFC championship.
Stay tuned as we provide real-time drive-by-drive updates as the Chiefs and Bengals battle it out in the AFC Championship.
Live updates will be available shortly after kick-off.
