WE HAVE EXPERIENCED MANY PEOPLE, WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF FRUSTRATION IN 2020 WITH THE PARADE ROUTE BEING COMPLETELY INTERRUPTED OR CLOSED COMPLETELY FOR CROSSING. WHICH HAPPENS AT 9 AM. THERE ARE DESIGNATED CROSSINGS ALONG THE ROUTE. THEREFORE PEOPLE COMING TO AND FROM HOME OR WORK CAN GO THROUGH THE DESIGNATED CROSSINGS. BUT AT 9:00 AM IT WILL BE CLOSED COMPLETELY TO ANY VEHICLES OR PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. AND VERY FAST, BECAUSE WE KNOW THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM. IN ANTICIPATION OF THIS PARADE GETTING READY FOR HUGE CROWDS FILLING DOWNTOWN, HOTELS IN THE AREA ARE BOOKED WITH PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO BOTHER TO DRIVE. THEY SAY THEY JUST WANT TO FOCUS ON THE CELEBRATION. ENJOY THIS. ENJOY THE CITY, ENJOY THEIR TEAM. ENJOY ALL FANS. I THINK THAT’S REALLY WHAT WE LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SEE ALL TOGETHER FOR SUCH A FANTASTIC OUTCOME. AS. AND I SAY THAT BECAUSE SERGENT PICKETT IS GETTING INTO THE CAR RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IS LEGAL IN MISSOURI, BUT IT IS NOT LEGAL TO SMOKE IN PUBLIC. SO WE ARE CIVILIZERS. WE ARE SAFE. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE. ALSO YOU MAY NOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON THE STREETS OF A COMPANY NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE PARADE OR GIVE FREE BEER. SO READ THE TEA LEAVES AS YOU CAN

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department said it has located several children who were lost during the Chiefs Kingdom Championship Parade. Police say parents and guardians should contact the officer closest to them to help the reunification process. Earlier in the day, the department successfully reunited a missing child along the Chiefs Super Bowl LVII parade route. Police tweeted Wednesday morning just after 9:30 that officers are looking for a nine-year-old boy downtown. The tweet says the nine-year-old is a white male with dirty-blonde hair wearing a Patrick Mahomes No 15 jersey. Police asked if attendees saw a child fitting that description and was unaccompanied, notify the nearest officer. Officers say the boy went missing near Pershing and Main Street. No further details about the nine-year-old have been shared at this time. Police are flying into downtown KCMO in their helicopter ahead of the big event. There are 8 reunification stations along the parade route.
