Thanks to a resource manager in Liberty, Mo., the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl title is now a global celebration. Last week’s Super Bowl celebration expanded to a mission complex in Honduras. Rob Bratcher, the school resource officer in Liberty, says a cousin who runs the church is from Philadelphia. But Bratcher quickly discovered that all the guys at the mission were Chiefs fans. “He said there’s a bunch of kids down here,” Bratcher said. “Kids really love Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.” Bratcher made it his business to get team championship shirts and other items, only to find out how many fans there were. Luckily, a company in Liberty donated all of the shirts. Bratcher says it was very nice of them and would have happened without them. “Man, there are so many good people in our society,” he said. The company declined to be identified.
