The Japanese ramen restaurant will open its first restaurant in the Kansas City area on February 27
February 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // OVERLAND PARK, KS – Move over Kansas City barbecue, because true ramen culture is making its way to the area! Soon, guests will be able to enjoy the perfect balance of bold noodles with thick, rich broth as JINYA Ramen Bar prepares for the Overland Park grand opening on Monday, February 27.
Located at 7761 W. 159th St., right next to the Ball of Twine and the Kansas State Capitol, the area’s new ramen landmark will offer more than a dozen acclaimed dishes that are simmered for 20 hours to ensure a deep flavor that is sure to please any palate. The grand opening celebrations begin with the first 50 guests lining up at 11:00 to receive a FREE bowl of ramen, and then again for the first 50 guests lining up for dinner at 5:00 PM In addition, one lucky guest will receive a personalized JINYA ramen bowl, tote bag, T-shirt, and a $100 gift card such as Lucky Golden Bowl Diner.
“We’ve been wanting to bring ramen to the Kansas City area for a long time, so we’re excited to finally make our debut,” said Tomo Takahashi, founder and CEO of JINYA. “We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome the community with open arms and see the smiles on everyone’s faces as they get their first bite of our bold noodles and thick, rich broth.”
To celebrate the first JINYA restaurant in the area, Takahashi, along with VP of Operations Steve Gratz and VP of Marketing Cai Palmiter, will all be in attendance at the opening ceremonies. Normal opening hours will be 11am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am to 10.30pm Fridays and Saturdays.
JINYA is also excited to offer the “Cha-Cha-Cha” bowl of ramen for a limited time from February 27th to March 13th. This promotional item is from the secret menu, so be sure to whisper when asking your server!
