An East Texas woman is behind bars after reportedly punching her boyfriend when he told her about the infidelity.
Emma Grace Hill, 20, of Tyler, was arrested by the Smith County Sheriff’s Office Thursday and jailed in Smith County Jail for aggravated assault on a date/family member with a weapon on $250,000 bail. The incident is reported to have taken place on Wednesday.
According to SCSO, Hill’s boyfriend accused Hill of cheating and kicked her out of the house. Officials say Hill had a hatchet and tried to open the door. After the boyfriend eventually opened the door, a fight ensued and Hill allegedly hit the man with an axe.
