Barnes & Noble will take over Office Max’s previous Pier1 space at the Crossroads mall at the intersection of Caraway and Highland, Haag Brown Commercial said in a statement.

The national chain bookstore previously occupied the site at The Mall at Turtle Creek. It was one of several stores that were destroyed by a tornado in March 2020.
“Perseverance was definitely the key to getting this deal done. The return of Barnes & Noble to Jonesboro for me personally has been going on since March 2020, after the tornado hit our mall. I’m so glad we can finally make this announcement as we know it’s been a long time.”

The Crossroads Center will soon be refurbished and rebranded as The Uptown extension dubbed “The [email protected],” the post said. Jeremy Gamble is the new owner of the Crossroads Center.
