Closing Day of Martin Luther King in San Antonio

As the new year continues, we are getting closer to our next federal holiday of the year. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Monday, January 16, and many San Antonio City services will be closed or have their hours adjusted.

Despite the closure, most of the city will come together to celebrate the holiday and take part in the MLK march, which is returning in person for the first time since 2020. The annual march usually attracts over 300,000 participants and has been called the largest MLK Dacha March.
