WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) — This week’s Crime of the Week is a man suspected of breaking into the same building twice.
The suspect is exposed and makes no attempt to hide his identity while committing these crimes.
“Early morning of January 30 and 31 appears to be the same suspect who raided the foundation company service area at 2900 Jacksboro Highway,” Sgt. said Charlie Eipper.
The suspect raided the building in the early hours of the morning, and while he’s only hit one establishment so far, it’s still wise for any business close to the initial raid to be on guard.
“He may be looking for other vulnerabilities, I would always encourage alarms and video systems because that’s what will help us with this investigation is the fact that we have video and photos,” Eipper said.
The man walked off with several thousand dollars worth of various office supplies, and in addition to breaking into the building, the suspect is facing two counts of burglary in a building.
According to investigators the suspect is a black male between 5 and 6 feet tall, here he is seen wearing a dark colored hoodie with an e printed on the front.
“If you have information about these burglaries, please don’t assume we already have it, call us, you can call Crimes Blocked at (940) 322-9898 or you can call our emergency number at (940) 720-5000 ,” Eipper said.
Remember that when calling criminals you must never give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest you could earn a cash reward.
