ARLINGTON, TX (AP) _ D. R. Horton Inc. (DHI) on Tuesday reported fiscal first quarter earnings of $958.7 million.
The Arlington, Texas-based company said it posted earnings of $2.76 per share.
The results beat Wall Street’s expectations. The average estimate of 18 analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was $2.27 per share.
The developer reported $7.26 billion in revenue for the period, which also beat Street’s forecasts. Seventeen analysts polled by Zacks expected $6.5 billion.
