One person died in a shooting on Brighton Avenue in eastern Kansas City, Missouri. Police said they received reports of gunfire in the Brighton Avenue and 24th Street area at around 10.45pm on Tuesday. When officers arrived to investigate, they found the victim in a car with gunshot wounds. The victim died before EMS could help them. Police have not released the victim’s name at this time. No information on suspects is available. Police asked anyone who knew anything that might help investigators to call the Crimestoppers TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
