FORT WORTH, TexasKWTX)- Police are asking the public for help in identifying and locating an aggravated robbery suspect who shot and killed a dog during a convenience store robbery.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on January 2, police officers were called to report a robbery at a store located at 6001 N. Main St.
The officers learned that the suspect had encountered an employee’s dog, Peanuts, during an armed robbery.
Peanuts tried to protect its owner and was shot dead by a suspect, police said.
