Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Announces Community Day March 8

HOUSTON (KIAH) — The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced Monday that they will be hosting a “Community Day.” On March 8, there will be additional discounts for guests arriving at NRG Park in the middle of Rodeo Wednesday.

According to a press release, the celebration will include “buy one, get one” rides and games, food and drink discounts, and community activation. “This is the first time Rodeo is offering free entry to the entire community and we are thrilled
let TC Energy be our sponsor on March 8th,” said Chris Boulman, President and CEO of Rodeo.

In addition to free admission and discounts, there will be several exciting community-organized events at the Rodeo grounds. Additional community partners will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition, for every person who walks through the gate from 8 a.m. to noon on March 8, TC Energy will donate $1 to the local community through its Build Strong social impact program, which invests in organizations that are an integral part of local communities.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo also announced Family Wednesdays on March 1 and 15 with similar discounts and free admission before noon for seniors over 60 and children under 12.

RodeoHouston 2023 is scheduled to run from February 23 to March 19.
